Hello everyone!

Wow, it was so great to see all of your faces on Wednesday. Wasn’t that fun? I sure thought so! If you would like to set up a one-on-one Zoom session with moi, and haven’t already, feel free to do so! My availability is Tu/Wed/Th 9-1. :) Email me at jschaff@agassizsecondary.com or jessilee.schaff@sd78.bc.ca.

This week, our poetry lesson is all about making someone in your life feel special. When has someone made you feel special before? How did they show you that you meant something to them?

Do you remember the acrostic poem we made a few weeks ago? We are going to make another one, but this time, we are going to choose someone’s name! It could be a family member, sibling or friend. I chose to do one for my mother, because Sunday is Mother’s Day and I can’t actually see her, so this is the next best thing!! I might even make one for my best friend, Taraleigh. Maybe Mrs. Babcock would like one too? I bet that would make them feel special too. :) Who do you want to make feel special?

Science
How are your Moon Cycle books coming along? I’d be curious to see what you have been doing.

This week in Science, you will be thinking about what your animal eats. Please write 3-5 sentences (with the help of an adult or older sibling.) Can you see how your project is building? It’s pretty neat, isn’t it? So far, you have what your animal looks like, where it lives, what it eats and can you guess what next week might be? Stay tuned!

See you next Wednesday.

Love,

Miss Schaff
