Week Twelve:
Summer Bucket Activity. Summer Bucket Activity
Create your own flap book! Feel free to choose the ones that resonate with you! Below are the pictures of the ones we completed in class. You can scribe for your child, or have them copy from your example. If they are getting the concept of Invented Spelling (Spelling by sounding out), they can do that also. (Dnsr= dinosaur for example.) All are fine! Three ideas per bucket size is plenty. Once finished, colour with pencil crayon and staple at the top creating your flap book!






Week Eleven:
Simple stories
Graphic Novels - Focus on character, setting, detail, story problem/resolution and beginning, middle and end. *Tip - Do your writing first before drawing pictures and putting bubbles. You can do think bubbles, speech bubbles or captions at the bottom. Good luck!
